I build the automation I wish my clients' businesses had always had. Then I hand it to them.
My name is Jake Pugh. I'm based in Rockford, Michigan, and I've spent years building custom automation systems for businesses across West Michigan and the Midwest.
I started Kingdom Built Co. because I kept seeing the same thing: businesses with good people, good processes, and good products, drowning in manual work that computers should be handling. Drivers texting photos that someone had to manually process. Orders that required data entry across three different systems. Paperwork that nobody had time to chase but everyone needed.
The automation should fit the business. Not the other way around. The only rule I build by.
I'm not trying to sell you a platform or a subscription. I build custom systems that connect to the tools you already use (Outlook, SharePoint, QuickBooks) and eliminate the specific manual work that's eating your team's time. Then I hand the system to you. You own it.
Every client I work with talks to me directly. I'm the one on the discovery call, I'm the one who builds the automation, and I'm the one who answers when something needs to be looked at. No account managers. No offshore team. Just a builder who cares whether it actually works.

The best automation is invisible. Your team shouldn't have to change how they work for a computer to do its job. We study your process first, then build something that fits exactly.
Ship fast, prove value early
Nobody should wait six months to see if something works. We move fast, get the first automation live quickly, and let real results drive the next steps.
Custom over generic
Templates are for demos. Your business has specific quirks, specific tools, specific constraints. We build for those, not for a hypothetical average customer.
You own it
When we're done, the automation belongs to you. No dependency on us, no monthly platform fees. We'll support you if you want ongoing help, but you're not locked in.

Why "no new tools to learn" is a hard rule
I've watched too many automation projects fail because they required behavior change. A new app for drivers who are already overwhelmed. A new portal for office staff who have their own system. Training sessions nobody has time for.
The moment you ask someone to change how they work, you've introduced resistance. And resistance kills adoption. I refuse to build systems that create friction for the people using them.
Every system I build starts with one question: what does your team do right now, exactly as they do it? The automation has to accept that input, not demand a different one.

Drivers text photos? Great. The automation works with SMS. That is the input.

Kingdom Built Co. is based in Rockford, Michigan, a small town just north of Grand Rapids. We serve clients across West Michigan and the broader Midwest, with remote capabilities for anywhere in the US.
Being based in West Michigan gives us a real advantage. We know these industries well: the logistics operations, the agricultural businesses, the manufacturing suppliers, the propane distributors. These are not hypothetical verticals for us. They are our neighbors.
That said, the automation we build works remotely just as well as it works locally. If you're a logistics company in Ohio or a greenhouse operation in Iowa, we can build the same system for you.
